| On 28 April 1997 RM2059 went to North Wales to operate on special service 477 from Porthmadog to Penrhyndeudraeth in connection with the Ffestiniog Rly's steam gala. Also in use were Stagecoach owned RMC1485, RMC1490 & RML2610. |
